Excellent place! Food is not greasy and big portions. Brisket was crazy tender and juicy. I got the bento with pineapple chicken and the spicy BBQ dipping sauce was extremely delicious. Salad had a wonderful ginger dressing & Beans and rice tasted fresh. Would definitely get again. I tried a bite of the smoked sausage and it was tender with a snappy skin. I'll probably get that next time. Atmosphere was super clean and open. Staff was friendly and checked back with us to make sure everything was perfect. The sweet bbq sauce was my least favorite. It doesn't taste like western BBQ and I couldn't place the flavor. Definitely go with spicy BBQ.

Solid food with a great patio area. The mills Avenue street is 6feet from the patio, so a little nerve wracking for littles. Also, if someone drives by with a loud car it is jarring.
The food itself was quite good. Decent brisket and really good pork. The spicy sauce sauce was quite good and the sweet sauce was great if you don’t like spicy.
The fries were really good. The Mac and cheese was good, but it didn’t feel truly homemade. The Apple Coleslaw was ok. It was nice to have some fiber with the meal, but it didn’t carry the kick you wanted and was underwhelming.
The kids quesadilla was a hit with our kids.
Overall, I would come back and I look forward to trying it again.

The service was excellent, very accommodating and very fast. Plenty of seating inside and outside. And the food was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the Street Corn Fries, but I will say the flavor profile on everything we tried was unique and interesting. If we are in the area in the future we will definitely stop in again.

My friend and I decided to meet here for lunch. It was early (just opened) so it was basically empty. We ordered and sat down, shortly after our meal was brought to the table. The overall appearance was great, however, when I started to eat the brisket I noticed that it was dry on the end. I told the server and the Chef brought out another order of brisket, which was much better. I had Jasmine rice and black beans and the street corn. My friend had the tacos which she said were just OK. I don’t know if I would make the trip across town again?

If you're looking for a not-so-traditional BBQ joint in Central Florida, Pig Floyds Urban Barbakoa is the place to be. Owner Thomas Ward has a unique spin on barbecue ribs, pork, chicken and brisket. My favorite are the urban tacos...especially the Shrimp and Sausage Taco.
