Service is always good. Food is very good. I have had a few things on the menu, but I have a difficult time choosing anything other than the Fish N Chips. It is a flaky white fish fried to perfection and served with fries and tarter sauce. I usually get it with tater tots tho. It’s the stuff cravings are made out of. They have a nice selection of beer on tap too. Clean environment with a few tv’s if ya bored. Outside eating too.
I'm local in Sanford, so I thought I would try this place since they had a $6.99 Burger special on Monday. Smaller than the pictures show, but cozy, with friendly people. Definitely a local hangout. I sat at the bar and ordered a beer and a shot, but they did not carry liquor which is not odd or a problem, just pointing it out. Ordered the Burger, Medium Rare, and it came out medium, not a huge issue for me. Added fries and they were krinkle kut which is always a bonus. Burger wasn't bad, seasoned well, so I could forgive the over cooking (again, not really a issue). Best part was the Bartender, she was attentive, super friendly, and super cute (always a plus 😉). Last thing - there Golden Tee didn't accept Credit cards. I play a lot and if it had, would have stayed for a few more beers. Overall, the service was fantastic, the food good, and the atmosphere, fun. Worth another trip sometime 😃
This is a great little neighborhood pub. The food was excellent. I had the patty melt and my husband had the buffalo chicken wrap. Both were delicious and the thin crinkle cut fries were the perfect level of crispy and seasoned. Chef's kiss! 😂 We happened to go on a Football Sunday and it was very busy with a loud, boisterous crowd of fans. Even so our service was quick friendly and efficient. Our food came out fast and hot and overall it was a very enjoyable experience.
We went on St. Paddy's Day and still had a great time! Service was fantastic, drinks were ice cold, and the entertainment was wonderful. Definitely recommended for a nice local Irish Pub 🍻 Sláinte
What worked: Service, they worked very hard to take good care of us. Fried mushrooms, I'm sure frozen but very good quality. Burgers, even though the bun was burnt, my wife really enjoyed it. What doesn't work: Beer selection- its fine for a normal neighborhood sports bar but O'Learys calls itself an Irish Pub. Two Irish beers doesn't cut it. Remember, Killians is American and doesn't count. Fish & Chips-fish was fairly good but I only got one fillet. Guess they thought I wanted a senior portion. Fries are cheap little crinkle cuts with no seasoning. Music is a little loud for such a small place (this was not live music night). Overall it's an ok place to grab a beer and a quick bite. Just nothing to write home about.
