Let's start off by saying the greeter/host set a very happy and pleasant mood.
The food was good but a bit on the hefty side price wise. It's understandable though and if you support small local businesses, just pay it.
Drinks were good but same issue pricing wise.
Atmosphere was very eclectic with a strong sense of family.
Outside patio area is spacious.
Overall I would go back eventually.

This place is awesome. Much better than all the touristy places on International drive. We drove an 1 1/2 to get here and it was well worth it. We loved the alternative vibe of the staff and the location. The service and food are both excellent. We didn’t get to meet Maxine this time, but “Mr. Maxine” did take the time to come out and greet us, he seem d very authentic person that really loved what him and his wife are doing here. He had planned to take a photo with him out front and left before that could happen, BUT once he noticed we had gone he walked a block away to find us getting into our car to make sure we got a photo with him and to thank us. It was an awesome experience. My wife and I have eat at well over 400 places in the last few years and do not come back to the same place very often, this is a location that I we plan to come back to :) these guys are doing so many things right that you have to love it. For a really good experience I would plan to spend somewhere in the $30-$50 per person for brunch.

We went here for Sunday brunch in the private dining room. This place is a must to visit in Orlando. We loved the food, ambience and the staff. We even were told by the server that we can have our cake and eat it too, where they gave our party complimentary champagne with a liquor as we were celebrating a birthday 🎈🎂. We also love that is locally owned by a husband and wife team. Awesome restaurant and a must try.

Awesome brunch. Large Bloody Mary was excellent tasting. I highly recommend reservations as I heard them tell someone 30-45 min that just walked up but they seated us in 10 min of our reservation. Owner was great to chat with and definitely makes a fun vibe. We will be back many times for sure.

My husband found this place and though I wasn’t excited about sitting in 15-20 minutes worth of traffic we were not disappointed when we arrived! We were met with a place that wasn’t boring or typical. It was a work of art! Everyone was kind and accommodating to my toddler. Our awesome server Perry got the kids a paper menu and colored pencils to draw with for their entertainment and my husband and I tangerine mimosas. Yummy! We even got to meet Mr. Maxine himself who was a superb host with a great sense of humor and relatability to all his guests. You know you’ve found a real treasure when the owner and all the employees are happy to be there! We witnessed only good vibes from everyone. The food, oh my goodness, the food was cooked to order from scratch. The steak fries were perfectly well seasoned. My Stout Braised Brisket was moist and tender. The biscuits were fantastic too. My son had chicken and waffles and liked the rosemary butter and husband greatly enjoyed his New York Strip! There was nothing left on their plates. My toddler had some eggs and bacon so it worked out for all us! I would recommend going there any time they’re open that you can find a reason to go. The outdoor patio seating looked gorgeous too. As we left we ran into Mr. Maxine one more time who took pictures for us and a selfie too😂what a character! Support this small business for the love of humanity!
