The food is fantastic.
All of the servers and staff are such lovely people constantly checking in and providing great service.
This goes beyond a good meal but is a great experience!
And if you have a puppy, then know that they love dogs and welcome them on their patio/outdoor seating area. Plus, they came by offering a water bowl and bacon for our dog.
The next time we get back to Orlando we will make it a point to eat here again.

Such a cute place!! Seriously, I loved it!
The service was amazing. They poured our mimosas for us and greeted and sat us immediately. The seasonal mimosa was peach and how yummy it was!
I had the fried green tomatoes to Ed with a crab cake along with the mixed veggies and potatoes. I forgot what sauce I had but it was spicy and had fish in it. Also so good!! I wouldn't recommend the veggies unless you bring your own seasoning, but everything else was literally so flavorful.
Definitely a cute local spot to go back to for brunch!!

We have lived in Orlando 5 years and never managed to make it a priority to visit. What a mistake, Maxine’s was amazing! We stopped by around 2:00 on a Sunday and sat at the bar with Mr. Maxine and Mark. Both were incredibly friendly and helpful and other staff members stopped by to say hello as well. We ordered the sangria (delicious) and then followed up with the tangerine mimosas (also delicious). For breakfast I got the brisket and my partner got the chicken bowl all the way. Both were so delicious and we left with leftovers. Can’t believe I waited for long to visit. Will definitely be back in the near future. The decorations for Halloween were fantastic as well and all for sale with the proceeds going to charity! P.S. I normally don’t do biscuits because they tend to be too dry. These were delicious and moist. I ordered one to go!

The decor is eclectic and full of art. I loved the nod to retro. From the glassware to the walls and lighting, it is full of personality. The staff is friendly, drinks are yummy, and food is definitely worth the wait. It was brunch time, so we waited but not sad about it. There are benches to sit in while you wait. Everything we had was delicious. We had their Chicken and Waffles, the Brie, Shrimp, and Bacon omelet and one of their brunch specials of the day: Lobster Benedict. Happy we went

A very popular place for all the right reasons!
Sunday brunch was exceptional at Maxine's! My best bit of advice is to make a reservation. The place is cozy with an attentive and relatable folks working there. The food is outstanding and the vibe is just right. The bloody Mary was perfectly spicy and a great combination with quiche and key lime pie!
Keep up the good work, Maxine's! We love it!
