“Best of Both Worlds” isn’t just an item on the menu, but a worthy description of the restaurant itself. Kyle does an excellent job focusing on the guest experience and making each patron feel appreciated, despite this being a rapidly expanding chain.
My first visit was opening day and the service was a bit slow because the staff were taking time to answer any and all questions and taking care to make the best food possible. And it was. On the next visit a week later, it was a well-oiled machine and the food was out by the time I sat down. Visits 2 and 3 were just as smooth. Ignore anyone who complains about speed of service.
As for the food itself, if you want grandma’s gourmet mac & cheese, go to grandma’s house. If you want the most amazingly delicious comfort food that’ll melt you like the cheese, check it out. Also, cheesecake balls > tater tots.

Food was Just Okay, and I'm not in a hurry to go back.
Me and my daughters went here for dinner one Wed evening because we're foodies born & raised in the south so we appreciate good Mac & Cheese.
Food Quality: The great thing here is that all the food comes out hot because it's all made to order. The taste of the food was just okay in my opinion. It's nothing to write home about and certainly doesn't stack-up to grandmas Mac & Cheese. My nit that I'm picking here is that the cheese sauce that everything is made with, isn't all that. This is restaurant-style cheese sauce (not homemade style) and that maybe okay for some people but not me. Since I'm a true southerner and have generations of Mac & Cheese to compare this to, it doesn't stack up in my opinion. I had the short-rib Philly mac & cheese bowl and it was just okay. Once again it was based on the same cheese sauce that just doesn't get it done for me. My 16 year old daughter had the Best of Both Worlds grilled cheese sandwich and she said he really liked her food. My 13 yr old daughter had the Chicken Parmesan bowl and she wasn't impressed either. She's a die hard mac & cheese lover so it didn't meet her high standards as well.
We also had the signature mac bites as a side and that was tasted really good.
Service: It's more of cafeteria style ordering but this particular Wednesday we went there they must have had a huge online order because we waited like 10 mins to place our order with no one in front of us and the inside of the restaurant wasn't full. They appear to need a more organized process to order, or maybe add more people in the back-end making the food so that someone can always take orders quickly.
Ambiance: we liked the inside of the restaurant. it was clean with enough tables to hold a decent crowd of people. they also have some big screen tv's but I couldn't figure out the placement of them. All the big screens are along with wall where most of the dining tables are so most of the people eating in the restaurant won't be able to see the TV's.
Bottom line is the food is okay but the cheese sauce that's the base for all the Mac & Cheese dishes needs to be revamped and made better. The spot was okay to try once but there are much better eats to be had even in just the Altamonte area.

First, the service was fantastic. Both team members were helpful, friendly, and kind. Second, the flavors were great, presentation was solid, and I even had leftovers because the portion is hearty. While I can't eat mac & cheese everyday, I can see myself definitely coming back when I get the craving!

We visited I Heart Mac N Cheese in Altamonte last night for dinner. The person who greeted us gave us recommendations of “favorites” on the menu & was very helpful in answering questions about gluten free items. I’ve been gluten-free out of necessity for one year, so it is rare that I get to enjoy a comfort food like mac-n-cheese. And, usually, it falls flat on flavor. That was NOT the case here. The gluten free pasta was delicious! The staff was very careful not to cross contaminate (changing gloves before handling my food). There was enough variety to keep you coming back for more, but not so much that it is overwhelming. They even offer vegan choices on the menu! My family enjoyed the mini chocolate chip cookies for dessert, while I enjoyed the gluten free marshmallow bar. The restaurant was clean & the selfie station was a fun touch! And, I love the heart shaped bowls 😊💜

Such a great concept. Staff was friendly and helpful explaining the concept and even gave menu suggestions. To top it off the food was great!
