Fire on the Bayou is a hidden treasure! Who would have thought that someone would have carved out a delicious slice of New Orleans and dropped it into an office park in Orange City, FL?! My lunch companion spent decades in The Big Easy; her seal of approval was all I needed to whet my appetite for some Cajun cuisine. Amber was our friendly and attentive server who delivered our wonderful meal and checked back on us just the right amount. My friend had the fish and chips - there was enough for two. I opted for the steak and shrimp tacos with voodoo sauce. We finished with a generous piece of key lime pie and two spoons. Absolutely perfect! The decor is so entertaining. The ambience is casual and welcoming. I will be back on a mission to experience the gumbo (and virtually everything else on the menu) over the coming year!

❤️❤️❤️ My food was so good that I didn't want to give up one single bite to trade with my husband to taste his. The alligator bites were perfect, light and crispy, my etouffee was spectacular, and my husband couldn't stop raving that if this is what jambalaya is supposed to taste like, he's been having sad attempts at it for the last ten years. Dessert was bread pudding that was swimming in sauce and covered in rum-drunk raisins. Our server was right; it tasted like a big cinnamon roll. We are definitely coming back. ❤️❤️❤️

FIRST VISIT TO ORANGE CITY, FL RESTAURANT. IT WAS A LARGE TAKEOUT ORDER CELEBRATING A BIRTHDAY. STAFF WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, THE ORDER HAD BEEN CALLED IN, IT WAS JUST ABOUT READY, AND WAS READY WITHIN THE ESTIMATED TIME. THE ORDER WAS COMPLETELY AS WE ORDERED. THE FOOD WAS GREAT NO COMPLAINTS. WE HAD 3 APPETIZERS, AND AGAIN JUST GREAT FOOD. WE WILL GO AGAIN

Not sure what what others are talking about with the size of the entrees. Have been here multiple times now and the portions are huge. Now the appetizers, that's a different story, They are pricey and I consider small portioned especially for the price when compared the entree pricing and portions. Food is first class, service as well. I just decided that we will not order any appetizers anymore and stick with the main courses. Come on $4 for a draft beer is not that expensive in a full service restaurant. There is no liquor bar.

Service is always amazing. Beautiful interior and consistently great food. Only down side is they are not on the main drag so they don't get the attention they deserve. For sure one of the better places in the area that offers something different
