I had the pleasure of dining at Cilantro Indian Cuisine, and I must say, the experience left me utterly impressed. From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality that set the tone for the entire evening.
First and foremost, let's talk about the food. It was an absolute delight for the taste buds. Every dish we tried was a burst of authentic Indian flavors that transported us to the vibrant streets of India. The menu offered a wide range of options, and we had the opportunity to sample several traditional dishes. Each bite was a symphony of spices, skillfully blended to create a harmonious and memorable culinary experience. The dishes were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, reflecting the attention to detail and the passion of the chefs.
However, what truly set Cilantro Indian Cuisine apart was their exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable throughout the entire evening. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to assist us with any questions or special requests we had. It was evident that they took pride in their work and genuinely cared about ensuring a memorable dining experience for each guest. Their warm and friendly demeanor created a welcoming ambiance that made us feel like cherished guests rather than mere customers.
Moreover, the staff's expertise extended beyond their warm hospitality. They were well-versed in the menu and were more than happy to offer suggestions and explain the nuances of each dish. Their passion for the cuisine was infectious, and it added an extra layer of appreciation to our dining experience.
Overall, Cilantro Indian Cuisine is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it receives. From the delectable flavors that transport your palate to the heart of India to the genuine warmth and attentiveness of the staff, it is an experience that lingers in your memory long after the last bite. Whether you're a seasoned Indian food enthusiast or new to the cuisine, Cilantro Indian Cuisine is a must-visit destination for an exceptional dining experience.

Nice atmosphere with plenty of outside seating. The food was pretty good, except the Biryani in which we had two orders of and they both had hardly any taste. The chef remade them for us and it was much better. We probably won't be back because of the service. It was an older Indian lady. We were all very polite but she just seemed bothered to be there the whole time. When we asked for the bill she wanted us to pay then print out the bill. We wanted to see it first just to make sure it was right. She seemed agitated at that. It was correct. Our two parties paid cash separately and she shorted us both the change.

I ordered for pick up.
The restaurant sits in the Winter Garden restaurant alley, where parking can be challenging. Otherwise, it's a great location to walk around after eating.
The food was ready as promised.
The total was around 100 bucks for 3 people!
The entree was served in a super small container (see image. Placed in a regular dinner plate for comparison).
The tikka biryani's (rice) seasoning was not mixed well, causing inconsistent flavoring. The paneer was watery, and butter chicken, although flavorful, was more sauce than chicken.
The samosas served 3pces/ order. The filling was smooth & spicy. The dough was tough and a bit stale.
The customer service was curt.
The Naan was extra. 3$ per piece.
I'd like an in-dining experience before I recommend this restaurant. Would the value and quality be better then?

I am going to be honest. All the restaurants in this space prior to Cilantro have been pretty bad so I had low expectations. I came here for lunch and I was absolutely blown away. I would of tried something more adventurous but went with the butter chicken to be safe. The lunch platter came with soft fluffy rice, chewy and delicious naan bread, a samosa and much more. The butter chicken was flavorful and there is even a little desert after. The prices are also great. Two lunch plates with a drink after tip was less than $30! I would highly recommend trying this place while in Downtown Winter Garden. I hope this place continues the quality and doesn’t go downhill over time. The best addition to DTWG in a long time!

Delicious! Best naan I’ve had in my life. Several Indian people came in so you know it has to be good. Love this place, love the diversity it brings to Winter Garden!
