To me a 5 star is the top of the heap ....only 1 in the Orlando area. A 4 star is just excellent pie ....there are only a couple in the Orlando/Maitland area. This is a very good 3 star location. Read that is very good in my mind....it was close to a 4 star and that is amazing. Dave would rate at 7.6-7.7. The undercarriage and char were excellent, the sauce was very tasty and the cheese was good. So, this was a very decent pie. I might have gotten crazy and even gone to a 4 star, but the oil (shown in photo) was not to my liking. This is how I arrived at this score. A very tasty, good pizza. Maybe you guys can address the oil issue, which was a bit overwhelming and had to be removed with a paper towel.

If you like square deep dish, this is the place to go. It reminds me of Michigan square deep dish. So good! It’s only a take out place, but there is table outside to eat if you can’t wait till you get home like I did tonight. Highly recommend it.

Was stunned by this pizza. Have never had a problem with Buttercrust but this pie is drowning in grease, the dough is disintegrating and each barely cut slice has massive lakes of grease on it. So many pizza options in the area this bummed me out.

Buttercrust pizza is family owned and operated. It's not a chain restaurant it's the only one in all Orlando. If you're looking for authentic Detroit style pizza, this is the place for you. Also, they have chicken wings which are not fried, they are double cooked in the oven. They also have a nice variety of soft drinks available. They don't have in-house delivery, but they do Ubereats! I recommend you order a pie and pick it up yourself, staff is super friendly. A++ more me!

This pizza always hits the spot and I literally will crave the buttercrust until I finally order some. Highly recommend the pepperoni buttercrust or even the Buffalo chicken one , or the Mac and cheese. And the wings are always so good too
