Wanted to try a new place, probably passed this restaurant a couple times. Looked like a Millers Ale House on the outside but inside, it’s a beautiful and open restaurant. The atmosphere was really nice, wasn’t too loud on a Sunday, it was filling up though. Jason was our server, he was really kind and did a nice job- the steak though wasn’t as memorable! It wasn’t dry, but definitely not Med Rare…but a nice medium for sure. Hands down Linda’s has the best steaks around, doesn’t need steak sauce etc. the steaks there are pure magic and chef Steve has it down to a science. In all honesty, it was over priced…the sides were lukewarm. I’ve tried it and all in all it was a nice experience, but definitely not a place I’d be jumping to go back to. Just my opinion…. We were close to the kitchen and it looked like they were going down, the manager had to jump on the line and the sous- chef also was on the line at one point….. again, it wasn’t insanely busy, about five or so tickets were up at a time. Still unsure why the food wasn’t hot… Again, definitely not a place I’d be jumping to go back to.

Visited the restaurant to experience Mills 50 dining and celebrate my friend's birthday. The greeting staff were very welcoming, as was the waitress and Manager, so no faults there, extremely nice staff! I had the sangria cocktail which was sublime and was average price for cocktails. The bread was delicious and warm, the Philly egg rolls was the most memorable part of the meal and highly recommended!! Sadly my rib-eye was overcooked and I literally had to saw into it. I did inform the waitress and it was sent back and another steak was cooked which was much better. It could have been more tender as it was classed as Aged . As it's priced around $36 , I Guess I expected better. The Parmesan mash again lacked real flavor, but the portion was ample.I loved the broccoli which had plenty of flavor and was nicely cooked. You only get one side with the steak so I guess that's why you can end up spending a little more than anticipated if you order extras. Additional sides and salad are around $7 each. My friend had the NY strip which was very fatty. She did not complain but I kept seeing her cut away chunks of fat from her steak. She also loved the Philly egg rolls and her Mule Cocktail. We both gave the creme brulee cheesecake two thumbs up, as it was awesome and highly recommended!!!! It is a good place for large gatherings, intimate meal and families. It is wheelchair accessible and you share parking with the local food store so it's a bit hit or miss, but there are lots of spaces and Valet parking is available too. You can eat outside and there is a bar. I found the music a bit loud initially, however I was able to talk without having to raise my voice to be heard. They do have a To-go section and parking for those collecting food which is nice.I reserved a table but you could go without doing so, as there was no one waiting( this was 530pm on a weekday) I would go again to try other items on the menu. There is a good variety on offer and as there were items I really enjoyed, I'd say it is worth a repeat visit.

We had great service at Firebirds for dinner on a Friday evening. The food, not as great. We made a 6pm reservation but it wasn’t necessary because they weren’t on a wait. We were sat and greeted quickly by our server. She was informative and suggested some menu items. I was looking to get an alcohol free mixed drink and ordered the blood orange tamed mule (advertised on the menu) but they were out of one of the ingredients, so just a Diet Coke for me! For dinner, I got the filet with a loaded baked potato and added a Caesar salad. The salad was underwhelming - the dressing had virtually no flavor and I found myself reaching for the salt and pepper multiple times. I always get a Caesar salad when dining out at restaurants if they offer it and my recommendation would be to skip this one. The filet was cooked perfectly temperature-wise (M) but lacked any flavor as well. A steak should be able to stand alone with its seasoning and this one missed the mark. If I’d known it would lack any flavor, I would have added a topping. My hubby got the Bleu cheese topping on his filet and thus, had much more flavor. If I was rating just based on service, I would give 5 stars but my beverage of choice wasn’t available and my salad & steak lacked any flavor.

Every time me and my family travel to Florida we love to try something new that Georgia doesn't have to offer, and I'll have to say, Firebird did not disappoint one bit. Kale was an awesome host who made assisted me with sampling until I found the perfect wine for tonight's dinner. He was very patient and polite, the food was delicious and the best part is the wait wasn't long before our food arrived. Thanks Kale and Firebird for this wonderful experience.
